The top selling motorcycle brands of Pakistan have dropped a price bomb on their customers. Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki all have increased their bike prices effective from 1st of July.
Honda increased the prices upto Rs15000 whereas Yamaha increased it upto Rs26500. Meanwhile Suzuki has jacked up the prices upto Rs10000.
Honda’s CD70 will now be sold at Rs111,500 after an increase of Rs5000. Whereas with an increase of Rs6000, the CG125 will be sold at Rs.174,500.

On the other hand, the new price of the Yamaha YB 125Z is Rs. 255,000, increased by Rs. 23,500, while the price of the Yamaha YB 125Z DX is Rs. 273,500, up Rs. 25,000. Similarly, the Yamaha YBR 125 will now cost Rs. 280,500, a Rs. 25,500 increase.
Suzuki also joined the price hike and announced some major increases in prices. The prices of the GD110S, GS150, and GS150SE have been boosted by Rs7,000. The revised rates are Rs219,000, Rs239,000, and Rs256,000. The GR150’s price has been raised by Rs10,000. Rs349,000 is the new pricing.

Suzuki has also directed their dealers to stop taking new orders of their bikes which became effective on 1st of July.
According to industry officials, the firm has been unable to import fully knocked down units due to the central bank’s limits on the granting of Letters of Credit.
