This is a disturbing & disastrous trend on Tik Tok! Young people desperate 4 followers are setting fire to our forests during this hot & dry season! In Australia it is lifetime imprisonment for those who start wildfires. We need to introduce similar legislation @WildlifeBoard pic.twitter.com/RGMXnbG9f1

In yet another popular video, a female TikToker set fire to the woods to provide “dramatic effects” to her film. Dozens of trees were burned to ashes to provide a dramatic impact for viewers to see in the video.
Chairperson Islamabad Wildlife Management Board Rina S Khan Satti stated on Twitter after seeing the video of the female TikToker, “This is a worrisome & catastrophic trend on Tik Tok!” During this hot and dry season, young individuals thirsty for followers are setting fire to our trees!”
“These insane young individuals must be apprehended and imprisoned immediately!” “Please call @WildlifeBoard if you have any information,” she added.
These sort of activities can be a cause of some serious calamities. Bushfires in Australia that happened back in 2020 made a massive damage as the fires kept burning for about 4 months. An estimate of 3 Billion animals were killed or displaced in this calamity.
Pakistan has already been in one of the most hottest countries in the World this year. The temperatures have broken all records of the past 60 years. Many people are suffering from the heatstroke. These sort of brainless activities will make the situation even worse.
